Hit Play began work on Bluebeam Extreme Conference (XCON) at the height of post pandemic event restrictions, in 2021. The two-day conference and awards show, which we produced virtually, was set and filmed on the Bluebeam campus. Hit Play managed script development, camera blocking, staging—all the elements of a traditional video production project—in addition to the employee live stream.
Fast forward to 2022, and Hit Play was able to work with Bluebeam to convert XCON into a fully live experience. The event welcomed 500 industry leaders, influencers and innovators who wanted to explore the latest trends in digital construction, deepen their understanding of Bluebeam’s solutions, and forge strategic partnerships. The San Diego, CA based conference featured over 50 lectures, training sessions, customer panels and case studies. Hit Play produced the immersive brand experience throughout the hotel and general session space. In addition to the event design, Hit Play played a role in content management, sourcing the host and creatively designing the physical stage scenery to amplify the content messaging. The foreground fabrication, which overlaid the digital content screens, created content windows that would come to life while speakers presented, enhancing the storytelling experience.
